How to move from an existing website to a Hold Space Creative template

Step One: Customize your website

First, we recommend working on your new template website from Hold Space Creative. Customize your color palette, insert your pictures, add your copy, and set up your page structure until you reach a place where you're ready to launch your new website.

Step Two: Purchase a Squarespace subscription

Next, subscribe to Squarespace by navigating to Settings > Billing.

Step Three: Transfer your existing domain and any remaining information

Step Four: Redirect URLs

If you changed any of your paper URLs when creating your new website (for example: your about page URL was / about on your old website, but on the new website, is / about-us), consider creating URL redirects to automatically direct traffic to the correct pages.

Step Five: Index your website with Google
