Saving a page for later use

If there's a page on your template that you don't need right now, but you may need in the future, we recommend hiding (or disabling) the page.

You can disable entire pages on both Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1, and individual sections of any Index Page on 7.0.
How to disable a page
1. Click the gear icon (settings) on the page you'd like to hide
2. General > slide the toggle next to Enable Page to disable it > Save
If you have a 7.1 template, and you'd like to hide a section of a page for later use, we recommend duplicating the entire page (below), then disabling it. When you're ready to add the new section, refer to the hidden page as a reference to recreate a new section on the original page.
How to duplicate a page
1. Click the gear icon (settings) on any page
2. General > duplicate page > Confirm
NOTE: If you disable a page that is linked in your Header or Footer Navigation, be sure to delete those links. When you enable the page again, create new links in your Header and/or Footer Navigation.
